METHODOLOGICAL INNOVATIONS

+ Family inclusive approach of schooling

Family inclusive approach enhance the students well-being. Engaging families in the educational process fosters a positive and supportive environment for students, contributing to their overall well-being and academic success. This approach enhances communication between schools and families, building a cohesive learning community. Beyond academics, it acknowledges the holistic development of children, incorporating social, emotional, and cultural aspects.

+ Teaches only two subjects in a day.

Teaching only two subjects a day help the kids enhance their focus and comprehension, allowing them to dive and explore deep into each topic taught in the class. Each subject period is two hours long, providing ample time to complete a specific topic, have in-depth discussions, and do activities related to the topic. This fosters a better understanding of the subject and also makes the class more interactive and engaging, making the class more interesting. Another advantage of this system is that it reduces the weight of the school bag of your kid, rather than carrying books of seven or eight subjects.

+ One day - One task Program

Implementing a "one day, one task" program in a Kindergarten (KG) class provides young learners with a clear, focused objective each day, promoting simplicity and reducing cognitive overwhelm. This approach also allows for a more in-depth exploration of specific skills or concepts, aiding better understanding and retention.

+ Maximum strength in a KG class is 15.

Limiting the number of students in a KG class allows for more personalized attention, fostering stronger teacher-student relationships. This intimate setting creates a conducive environment for early childhood development, enabling educators to address individual needs and provide tailored support. It also promotes better classroom management, enhances engagement, and facilitates a more interactive and collaborative learning experience your little kids

+ The 15 strength class is managed by a teacher and a teaching assistant with the help of an educational psychologist.
+ Smart Class and IT supported teaching system.
+ Students prepare their own notes from second standard onwards.

Preparing own notes promotes active learning, and helps develop essential study skills early on, and encourages students to engage with the material at a deeper level. This approach fosters independence, critical thinking, and a sense of responsibility for one's own education. Moreover, creating personal notes enhances memory retention and understanding of the subject matter. Yes, kids do make mistakes when they prepare their own notes, and they are free to do so as we help them correct it. The note making process is gradual by which the child learns to frame sentences of what they have in their mind.

+ Micro teaching method for individual care.

Micro-teaching is an effective method for individualized care as it involves short, focused teaching sessions that target specific skills or concepts. It allows teachers to tailor their instruction to the unique needs of each student. The individualized attention during micro-teaching enables teachers to identify and address specific learning gaps or challenges that a student may have. It provides a supportive environment for personalised feedback, fostering a targeted and responsive approach to each student's learning journey.

+ Activity based class room management.

Activity-based classroom management transforms traditional teaching methods into dynamic, engaging experiences for students. By integrating hands-on activities, educators create a learning environment that captures students' interest and actively involves them in the educational process. Beyond promoting effective learning and understanding, this approach significantly contributes to behavioral management by channeling students' energy into constructive activities, reducing disruptions and fostering a positive classroom atmosphere. Moreover, activities encourage teamwork, communication, and problem-solving, nurturing essential skills for students' holistic development.

+ Meditation & breathing exercise for Mental & Physical Development.

Our school practice daily meditation and breathing exercises. Meditation promotes mental clarity, emotional regulation, and heightened concentration, contributing to a positive and focused learning experience. Simultaneously, incorporating breathing exercises supports physical health by enhancing respiratory function, promoting relaxation of muscles, and improving overall circulation. Beyond the immediate benefits, these practices cultivate healthy habits that can be carried into adulthood, fostering a lifelong commitment to mental and physical well-being.

+ Training in Yoga, Dhyana, Drawing, Music, Dance.
+ Parent training and counselling.

We believe that for the positive personal growth of a child, parents play an equal role as schools. Parent training sessions are conducted thrice an academic year by our director, psychologist and educationalist Dr. M. R Yesodharan. Parent training plays a pivotal role in shaping the trajectory of a child's life, underscoring its immense importance in fostering healthy development and relationships. Equipping parents with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate the challenges of parenting is essential. Through training, parents gain insights into various aspects of child development, learning effective communication strategies, behavioral management techniques, and ways to create a supportive learning environment at home. Personal counselling sessions are conducted on appointment and those students will be under continuous monitoring.
