Dr.Yesodaran's Arsha International Model School is a research based institution established for developing an international learning model by integrating traditional Indian values with modern principles of education. Unlike the conventional system, we offer innovative educational methods that create stress free and insightful learning. Our school is headed by notable psychologist and award winning educationalist Dr. M.R. Yesodharan, and we follow his visionary and idea of child friendly education and also follow his methodological innovations which make us different from other schools in India.

THEORETICAL BACKGROUND

A School is a vibrant community centre, radiating life and energy all-round. It is a wonderful edifice, resting on the foundation of good will; good will of the public, good will of the parent. In a word, a well conducted school is a happy home, a sacred shine, a social centre, a state in miniature and bewitching Brindavan, all beautifully blended into a synthetic structure, as said by Sri. Balakrishna Joshi.

Traditional School imparts only formal education. Such school came into existence when family failed to impart the needed education to its children. Today the traditional school has become the teaching shops where teachers are the sellers of information and the children are buyers. Discussing such schools, Pestalozzi has rightly remarked –

"Our unpsychological schools are essentially only artificial stifling machines for destroying all the results on the power and experience that nature herself brings the life in children. We tyrannically stop the delightful course of their unrestricted freedom, pen them up like sheep, piteously chain them for hours, days, weeks, months and years to contemplation of unnatural and unattractive letter."

Like Pestalozzi other educationists namely Herbart, Frobel, Montessori, Parkhust, Tagore and others have emphasized child centered and child friendly education, which in-short - a progressive school developed in contrast to the unpsychological tendency in traditional schools.
