Discover our unique and progressive approaches to education designed to foster holistic development, focus, and a joyful learning experience for every child.
Family inclusive approach enhance the students well-being. Engaging families in the educational process fosters a positive and supportive environment for students, contributing to their overall well-being and academic success. This approach enhances communication between schools and families, building a cohesive learning community. Beyond academics, it acknowledges the holistic development of children, incorporating social, emotional, and cultural aspects.
Teaching only two subjects a day help the kids enhance their focus and comprehension, allowing them to dive and explore deep into each topic taught in the class. Each subject period is two hours long, providing ample time to complete a specific topic, have in-depth discussions, and do activities related to the topic. This fosters a better understanding of the subject and also makes the class more interactive and engaging. Another advantage is that it reduces the weight of the school bag.
Implementing a "one day, one task" program in a Kindergarten (KG) class provides young learners with a clear, focused objective each day, promoting simplicity and reducing cognitive overwhelm. This approach also allows for a more in-depth exploration of specific skills or concepts, aiding better understanding and retention.
Limiting the number of students in a KG class allows for more personalized attention, fostering stronger teacher-student relationships. This intimate setting creates a conducive environment for early childhood development, enabling educators to address individual needs and provide tailored support. It promotes better classroom management, enhances engagement, and facilitates a more collaborative learning experience.
Preparing own notes promotes active learning, helps develop essential study skills early on, and encourages students to engage with the material at a deeper level. This approach fosters independence, critical thinking, and a sense of responsibility from second standard onwards. Moreover, creating personal notes enhances memory retention. Kids do make mistakes, and they are free to do so as we help correct it. The note making process is gradual by which the child learns to frame sentences.
Micro-teaching is an effective method for individualized care as it involves short, focused teaching sessions that target specific skills or concepts. It allows teachers to tailor their instruction to the unique needs of each student. The individualized attention enables teachers to identify and address specific learning gaps or challenges, providing a supportive environment for personalised feedback.
Activity-based classroom management transforms traditional teaching methods into dynamic, engaging experiences. By integrating hands-on activities, educators create a learning environment that captures students' interest. Beyond promoting understanding, this approach significantly contributes to behavioral management by channeling students' energy into constructive activities, reducing disruptions. Activities encourage teamwork, communication, and problem-solving.
Our school practice daily meditation and breathing exercises. Meditation promotes mental clarity, emotional regulation, and heightened concentration. Simultaneously, incorporating breathing exercises supports physical health by enhancing respiratory function, promoting relaxation of muscles, and improving overall circulation. These practices cultivate healthy habits that foster a lifelong commitment to mental and physical well-being.
We believe that for the positive personal growth of a child, parents play an equal role as schools. Parent training sessions are conducted thrice an academic year by our director, psychologist and educationalist Dr. M. R Yesodharan. Parent training plays a pivotal role in shaping the trajectory of a child's life. Equipping parents with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate the challenges of parenting is essential. Parents gain insights into child development, communication strategies, behavioral management techniques, and ways to create a supportive learning environment. Personal counselling sessions are conducted on appointment and those students will be under continuous monitoring.
In addition to our major methodological innovations, we also focus on integrating modern technology, psychology, and essential life skills into our everyday schooling.
